Giant Egg Found in Suffolk

Earl Soham Community Primary School found themselves host to a rather unusual egg this week. Measuring more than half a metre tall, it is unclear at this moment in time just what laid this giant egg. The local vets were unable to shed any light on the matter, and despite my rigorous investigations, I too was bemused by what I saw there.

What is clear is that whatever animal or bird is developing inside the egg is a very rare species indeed. The school community have been asked to continue to make regular observations and report back to the museum about any changes they witness.

Until such time as it hatches, however, we will have to continue speculating!
