This unusual collection of cystal skulls was discovered during an archaeological dig in the south of Kent. The intricately carved skulls are thought to date from the Late Iron Age and are truly unique. The craftsmanship is astonishing, and there is still considerable debate amongst our experts as to how the fine details were produced with such primitive tools, prompting speculation that Iron Age people may have been more advanced than originally thought.
